You probably eat one regularly Delicious Protein Bar or a High Protein Bar, but have you ever thought of making a protein bar yourself? This recipe is easy and results in delicious bars! Highly recommended.
Ingredients (10 bars):
- 200 gram Perfect Oats;
- 175 gram Protein Peanut Butter;
- 125 milliliters of skimmed milk;
- 75 gram Whey Delicious vanilla;
- 2 cubes of dark chocolate;
- Sprinkles (optional).
To start, place a baking paper in a baking tin so that you can easily use it in the later steps of the recipe. Then add the milk and the Whey Delicious vanilla together in a bowl and mix it together with the hand mixer. Put the Protein Peanut Butter and mix it well with a spoon into the milk mixture. It must ultimately become one beautiful whole. Now add the Perfect Oats and knead this into a ball with your hands. You divide this evenly over the baking pan. Then put it in the fridge and leave it in here for at least 2 hours so that it can harden.
After 2 hours you can take the baking tin out of the fridge. Then remove the large bar from the baking pan and cut it into 10 smaller bars. Now melt the chocolate and garnish the bars with the chocolate and the sprinkles. This last step is of course optional.
There you have them, your home-made protein bars!
Nutritional values (per bar without sprinkles): 199,3 kcal / 16,5 grams of carbohydrates / 7,5 grams of fat / 17,5 grams of protein
