Summer in the Netherlands is very changeable this year. Yet it is nice to drink a nice milkshake during the summer days. Unfortunately, milkshakes often contain a lot of sugar and fat. The milkshake that we have made contains not only many proteins but also vitamins. Fancy a healthy milkshake? Try this recipe of a protein-rich vanilla / banana milkshake!

Ingredients for 1 milkshake
- 1 banana
- 1 scoop (20 grams) Perfect Whey Protein vanilla taste
- 100 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 1 vanilla stick
- Strawberries and grapes
Note: to make the milkshake, you must freeze the banana one day in advance. Remove the peel from the banana, break it into pieces and put it in a plastic bag in the freezer.
- Remove the banana from the freezer and put it in a high mixing bowl. Add the milk, the marrow from the vanilla stick and the vanilla egg whites. Grab a hand blender and mix everything well until it is a smooth mass. Then put everything in a container and put it in the freezer for another 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cut all the fruit into small pieces.
- Remove the ice cream from the freezer and put it in a glass or bowl. You can also make scoops of it, but note that the ice melts quickly. Then place all the fruit on the ice as a topping.
